On December 27, NGO MANT marked its XV Annual Assembly, bringing together its members and partners to close the year with a celebration of innovation and achievement. The event was highlighted by the presentation of the MANT Tech Award (MATA) 2025, honoring exceptional contributions to technological development.
The XV Annual Assembly of the Montenegrin Association for New Technologies (MANT) was held in a warm and festive atmosphere, traditionally bringing together MANT members and distinguished guests at the end of the year, in anticipation of the New Year and Christmas holidays.
This annual gathering represents an opportunity not only for social interaction and networking, but also for reflecting on the results achieved by the organization during the past year and presenting plans and strategic directions for the period ahead.
The Assembly was opened with a welcoming address by Dr. Dmitry Tarasov, President of the MANT Assembly, who greeted the attendees and emphasized the importance of continuity, cooperation, and shared values within the organization.
Following this, Prof. Dr. Radovan Stojanović, President of MANT, presented the most significant achievements accomplished over the previous year, as well as MANT’s plans and priorities for the upcoming period. During his address, Prof. Stojanović also introduced the recipient of the MANT Tech Award (MATA) 2025, a prestigious recognition traditionally awarded by MANT at the end of each year for outstanding contributions to the development and promotion of new technologies.
The MATA Award was formally presented to this year’s laureate by Prof. Dr. Budimir Lutovac, long-standing MANT member and Dean of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering. The award ceremony was followed by a brief address from the laureate, who shared a few words with the audience.

The MATA Award 2025 was presented to Uroš Mirković, a distinguished expert in digital transformation and cybersecurity, in recognition of his long-term contribution to technological innovation, system security, and the advancement of modern IT solutions in Montenegro and the wider region. With more than two decades of professional experience, Mr. Mirković has played a significant role in the development and implementation of complex technological systems, while actively promoting knowledge-sharing, innovation, and technical culture.
The formal part of the evening concluded with a special contribution by last year’s MATA laureate, Ing. Marin Čaveliš, who addressed the audience with a short poetic performance.

After the official program, participants continued the evening with a cocktail reception and informal gathering, celebrating another successful year of MANT’s work in an atmosphere of friendship, inspiration, and shared commitment to innovation and technological progress.
